We worked again with the surcingle but we used the full bridle this time. We put the reins between her front legs and attached them to the surcingle rings, putting a little pressure on her mouth. It helped teach her to get her head in the right position by gently tugging one side then the other asking her to bend to the pressure. We worked in the indoor arena today, in the round pen part. We longed some more but without any ropes, like at liberty. We used a dressage whip (never touching her with it!!!) to speed her up, change direction and stop. The direction changes are a bit messy though! We also did some ground driving in the indoor arena today!!! It was a lot of fun and I think Missy enjoyed it too! Missy is getting better with the cross ties, she's not so afraid of them, which is an improvement. We did have some trouble with the flysheet again though, that will be a little tougher to solve!
